After months of training and hard work, I finally did it. I ran a half marathon. My performance wasn’t all that I expected, but I at least finished in a time that I found quite suitable.
8. OBESITY AND ALONE TIME: A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN
It used to be people would feel sorry for the person eating dinner by themselves at a restaurant. But eating trends change, and I insinuate that eating alone might aid in the fact our country is expanding so rapidly.
I really didn’t know Chris Subaran very well, but the fact he died at such a young age from the result of diabetes really touched a chord with me. That could have been me if I didn’t make the changes I made.
6. HOW TOUGH IT MUST BE TO BE A MOM
In this blog, I mention how tough it is to really shop in our country, form the weird conniption people have about gluten to the fact Malt-o-meal used to have some pretty awesome cereal mascots.
5. OBESITY…IS IT CHILD ABUSE?
So, let’s say your young kid is extremely heavy and can barely walk without stopping to take a rest? Would you consider this child abuse? It’s an interesting subject because is putting your kid in harm’s way through poor nutrition teaching a malicious act?
4. THE BIG FAT DEBATE PTS. 1 AND 2

3. SKINNY HATING

2. THE NEW BODY OF POVERTY
While we all have a certain idea of what poverty looks like, the new truth is being slowly revealed to be the opposite. With the amount of processed junk that is cheap and available to the poor, we are seeing a lot more overweight people in the lowest rungs of society.
